Goodwin Insurance Agency Inc. began as a startup agency in 1984 by Bobby and June Goodwin. It began growing in Princeton, KY and surrounding areas and has flourished throughout the years. In 2003, Goodwin Insurance Agency Inc. was purchased by Torey and Jennifer Hammett. They are the daughter and son-in-law of the original owners, Bobby and June Goodwin. Shortly after purchasing the agency, Torey began to acquire a mixture of high quality national and regional carriers and more growth began. Through the years since 2003, the agency has more than doubled in size and locations and has broadened the portfolio of coverages that can be provided to the customer. Goodwin Insurance Agency Inc. is actively writing and pursuing new business in the insurance lines of Auto, Home, Renters, Umbrella, Commercial property and liability, Farm, Life, Boat, RV, Mobile Home and Motorcycle among others. In 2007, Goodwin Insurance expanded into Cadiz, KY and later purchased Yarbrough Tabor Goodwin Insurance LLC in Marion, KY.
